Right, it is ridiculous. I try to buy local whenever I can, including supporting my local gas stations, but this is a travesty.

Oil companies/gasoline distributors actually use zip code based pricing models. The more affluent/isolated you are, the higher price you will be charged. Folks in Beverly have many more options to buy gas than those in Gloucester.

Which explains why Hamilton consistently has cheaper gas prices than Gloucester, right?
