MAYOR KIRK IS RESIGNING.
We’re doing a podcast with her on Sunday. I’ll just simply state for now that I think she was the best Mayor we ever had and the only person with the balls to stand up to the nimbys was in fact a woman.
She was unwavering in her support for many projects that will and have vastly improved our City. I didn’t agree with everything she did but I did agree with a whole lot. I just hope we don’t end up with a Mayor that treats businesses large or small as if they are evil and encourages responsible growth rather than trying to extort and discourage potential future investment.
THANK YOU MAYOR KIRK FOR ALL THAT YOU HAVE DONE

She was an extremely good mayor. Let’s hope the next mayor can keep the good work going. Onward.

That is such a shame! She is by far the most positive and even tempered politician I’ve ever had the pleasure of watching work!!! While it’s the city’s loss, I wish her peace and family time in the month’s ahead.

Being a mayor is a hard job – always remember those for both the pro and con an what they gave and left behind for those who follow. I always try to wish them the best on the path they choose forward…December been sort of rough one…
Thanks…Dave:-) & Kim:-)

I had a short conversation with a customer in the gallery yesterday, instigated the Mayor’s commemorative hockey puck that she gave me. The customer, who had been to a few of my shindigs here which Mayor Kirk attended, remarked on her emanation of PRESENCE. One knew she was someone important, even before meeting her. I met Carolyn and husband Bill more than 25 years ago, and always liked them. Good luck my friend, and I look forward to learning of your next adventure.
