I too saw little Bengi on Niles beach on Christmas. We had no luck catching him. Above is the link to him but no contact to the owner. Does anyone know were he belongs in Gloucester? It says this little fella has been missing since Dec 19. The police said he was reported running around Rocky Neck on Christmas Eve. If anyone knows his owner please tell them to search East Gloucester!! Last I know the little fella was seen on Grapevine.

12/27/14 (3PM) — Little Benji is STILL MISSING and there are MANY amazing people trying to find him. The updated information is posted quite frequently on the Cape Ann Lost Pets Facebook page at this link — https://www.facebook.com/groups/107454752616503/ – Most recently he seems to be back in his HOME area (Perkins Street, Green Street Playground, Burnham’s Field, Trask, Dodge and Warner Street areas — He is Brand NEW to this area, so it’s ALL new to him ! He doesn’t know ANYONE here—and his “new” family we’ve been told, was “offended” by someone trying to help…but because of that — and sadly, they are now NO LONGER working or communicating with all the people trying to find him? It’s such a SAD story and VERY upsetting to all of us who LOVE our pets and want so much to help save him. The best hope for this little guy is to get the word out, — set up more traps (feeding stations) ….and make sure they are stocked with fresh food daily. He’s SO SCARED and will NOT come to anyone!! — He KNOWS no one here and no one knows his former owner? He bolted from his yard, the very first day he was there, he doesn’t even have a collar? He is running for Survival…and HE needs OUR help! You can print flyers and post / share them for THIS site — (all set up by caring members of the Community) — http://www.helpinglostpets.com/petdetail/?id=320604 — REMEMBER~! DO NOT chase — DO NOT call him by name or make EYE contact…it will ONLY make him run and he is FAST! PLEASE report ALL sightings by Text to the phone number on the FLYER ~ (Please text): (617) 304-9369 — You can also contact the Seaport Vet (during work hours) or the Cape Ann Animal Aid!! We all want him safe and HOPE that will be VERY soon!! Thanks to everyone who is trying to save him……!
