Natures Breath
By Peter A. Todd

The summer breeze sings its song
Beneath skies of blue and white
Lazy days that seem to drag on
Into the evening star lit night
If only time could be stilled
To enjoy fully God’s gift of life
But it is of his blessing that will
Keep us within his sight
So enjoy nature and all it does hold
The vast mountains, lakes, and streams
For before you know, leaves turn to gold
Our summer falls to winter’s gleam
The sands of time slip on by
So enjoy your life while it lasts
For before you know comes a new tide
To bring us to God and His judgment cast
