I get rid of some of my pennies at the gas station. When the pump clicks off, I’ll bump in enough fuel to come up with some sort of four cent increment.
I consider it “free” gas. Only problem is I receive more pennies than I can get rid of.
Anybody want a jar full of ’em?

Thanks for your reply. What’s the reasoning behind not wanting to get rid of it?

Taxes. I don’t want my taxes to round up by increments of .5 – that is why we need pennies.

They are nice (and cheap) to play games . What will they ” round up ” prices to ? $2.98 to $3.00 or $2.95 ? Guess !
Doesn’t bring luck to find a penny ?

I mostly refuse to accept pennies as change for any transaction I make in cash. Progress usually doesn’t happen when we “do things the way they have always been done.”
