Weekend Starts Tonight with FREE Harbor Loop Concert feat. What Time Is It Mr. Fox?

So you think the Schooner Fest starts tomorrow?  Think again.  You’ve gotta consider a free concert at Harbor Loop right in the heart of Gloucester’s waterfront, as the beginning of Schooner Fest. (Complete Schooner Fest Schedule here.  Henri Smith Tickets here)

Last year I saw crew coming off visiting schooners who were charmed by the Harbor Loop concert and astounded when I told them we have these every week. Thank you Bradley Royds!

So come on down to Harbor Loop tonight and party with one of the most creative local bands, What Time Is It Mr. Fox?

Music begins at 6:30pm with Piano Forte opening.  Just in case you’ve never seen Mr. Fox, read this:

“Time has come for Mr. Fox”
Barry Thompson, Boston Herald

“Catch him as his star rises”
Adam Feldman, Time Out New York (Critic’s Pick)

“a triumph of mood and style, an unforgettable musical, theatrical and emotional experience.”
Edge

“can simmer in blues, tremble with high drama, and faint into a yawning croon”
– Michael Brodeur, Boston Phoenix
