Joey,
This snowy owl was spotted over the weekend enjoying a visit to Annisquam near Lighthouse Beach.

It seems we have a few snowy owls visiting us this winter. My son and I saw one over at Stage Fort Park (and someone told us there were at least two there), and there’s also at least one hanging out at Brace Cove/Eastern Point. Beautiful creatures. If you want to learn more about them, check out this really cool PBS show: http://video.pbs.org/video/2291436455/

So beautiful. An article in the Annapolis newspaper reported the snowy owl was headed in this direction ~ however no followup news or beautiful photos such as I have seen on GMG have been posted. So thank you ~

We were saddened to discover a frozen snowy owl at Light House beach today, on our owl prowl today, January 1st. I hope it is not the magestic bird captured in this photograph.
