These people should be identified from the video and arrested for theft. Then they should be made to go on national tv and made to apologize to the victims of this senseless attack and their families. At the very least their bad karma will come back on them ten times.
Are you sure they’re looting? Nobody is really running from the scene or anything. It looks to me like they might be trying to collect coats, etc. left behind by runners.
I know I may sound like Mister Rogers but is this the day we need to dwell upon the small number of jerks? We can go to Barstool sports for this kind of coverage.
Today we should honor the thousands of citizens of Boston who truly showed the better angels of our nature. Post a photo of Joe Andruzzi carrying a lady from the blast. I know the looting happened. The people in that movie should be prosecuted. But today is not the day and I wish you would delete this thread.

You even see folk holding them up, like they are window shopping, but not really buying..”no wait, I think this might fit me right?” Then you see others, (guy in blue) going back for another, and smiling. You also see a runner, with his NUMBER on his bag, grabbing multiple coats. Just beyond insane. Well done massholes.
Someone contacted the vendors who owned the boxes, a comment from barstool sports:

Not to slow your role, but the people working that stand have since been contacted and said they told everyone to take what they needed to stay warm, since a lot of runners and spectators couldn’t get back to their belongings.
Now, are some of these assholes just taking advantage of that kindness and getting a free jacket out of the deal? Sure, but their was no “Looting”

So sure, some people took advantage of the situation but others are having their photos stuck all over youtube and labeled vile looters. You were not there, you do not know the timing of this incident, you do not know what they were told. Instead we get commenters on youtube “only in Boston”.
Did ya look at the video? Because people taking two and three jackets while they were already wearing leather coats and other jackets and sizing them up to see if theyd fit were not taking them to stay warm. They already were wearing jackets and then looking around nervously after they took them out of the bins, cmon Paul. A bit of a a stretch.
Yes, I watched the video. Let’s do a “what if” since we now know that the owners of the boxes told the people to take the jackets. What if they said that all the jackets had to go or they would be thrown away? Take as many as you want. Do these people know what travesty has just occurred? You have no idea. They might know nothing but an incident has occurred and someone is telling them there are jackets that have to go. Why wouldn’t they try them on? They are taking six for their family and want to make sure they fit. You want to hang them out to dry in public because of that?
You do not know. I would give them the benefit of the doubt or at least get some conformation. Instead, if you go onto YouTube the people of Boston are being ridiculed with extremely ugly comments. You should not promote it. Wait a week. Find out the facts. Then screw them. Doing it today is promoting the same mob mentality that you think is occurring in the video.
I am fond of the unpopular viewpoint, what can I say? I like the underdog. The coyote that everyone wants to shoot. Or these people who everyone wants to lynch without a trial.
