The Major Bent Estate, “Quattro Venti,” is on Cambridge Avenue in Annisquam. It’s right across the Annisquam River from Wingaersheek Beach. The locals called it “The Cement Bungalow.” Built in 1914, the stucco residence has a red clay tiled roof, 12 foot French doors that open onto an open air facade on the water’s edge and includes 15 rooms, 7, bedrooms, and 6 full baths. I have a photo of it in 1916 by Alice Curtis.
