I love that we are not the only family that feasts on New Years Day. Rich and I started a tradition the first we lived together on New Years Day we cooked a turkey dinner for just us and then made a huge pot of Turkey soup. (the only reason we got the turkey is b/c after Christmas they are .59 a pound) There is no schedule and it can go in the oven anytime in the morning b/c no one is waiting on us. It’s our relaxed feast.
