  1. There is a lot of history in this great shot…. (from left to right) – My brother John lived in the little cottage at the back of the Art Assso. where he would turn out feats of design-wonder props and special effects for trade shows; Al Czerepak inhabited the basement of the large Reed’s Wharf building – which was also Greta Marston’s weaving room, and played host to the “Starboard List” sea chanty concerts on friday nights; artist Ed Touchette lived in a tiny apt on the right side of the building. On sundays, a group of cronies, including wood carver Kasimir Stachievicz would play bocci ball in the driveway. Howard Richardson’s design studio – to the right of the driveway – is where we brainstormed exhibit design for GE Plastics and other large trade show exhibits. Across the driveway, I briefly lived in the white house on the right and could watch every stunning sunset across the harbor from my bedroom windows.
It was an amazing time of friendship, creative endeavour and community – true Glosta community!
