As long as supplies last if any GMG folks want a bumper sticker but can't drop down the dock, just send a self addressed and stamped envelope longer then 7 and a half inches and I'll drop one in the mail for you.

How do you have a picture of the tree with the lights flashing? That’s a magic picture.

Pick one:
1) Santa’s elves gave me magic pixy dust I rubbed on the photo.
2) Took two photos right before and after tree lighting. In Photo Shop I layered the “lights on” above the lights off. Then I erased everything in the “lights on” photo except the tree. Aligned the two trees, then in filters I added contrast, made the edges of the lights glow, to punch up the lights.
Then I made panels of the off tree then the on tree a bunch of times and gave 5 seconds to the off, then 5 seconds to the on, then 0.1 seconds alternating a few times to the on and off. Saved to “web devices” using 128Dithering GIF. This all took about ten minutes since I was missing my 2PM deadline and had the GMG editorial board breathing down my neck about I should have had it posted yesterday. (A real photoshop expert would gag how badly I botched it.)
[edit] I also erased the telephone pole and transformer that was sticking out of the tree. You may see some telephone wires on the left that go nowhere. That’s “magic eraser” in photoshop.

nb. Some readers of GMG might think we are batty because they cannot see the tree lights. They may have a browser with GIF animation turned off or they are running an extension that does that since their crazy aunt keeps sending them animated GIFs of kittens and the syrupy cuteness can give you diabetes.
