Great close-ups of hawk. What lens did you use?

I had my 55 -200 mm lens with me. I was hoping to catch the hawk in flight..but he was content on sitting there all day..lol.

beautiful composition on the tree/hawk silhouette! i was in gloucester visiting friends last weekend and didn’t see any hawks, but got a glimpse of a merlin chasing starlings.
