Easy Holiday Greens

This is my idea of holiday decorating.  Hack off a few branches from a friendly evergreen tree, fill a nice container with dirt, stuff the branches (stem-first, ideally) into the dirt and voila! You have your holiday greens completed.  As long as your standards aren’t too high (count me in!), you can have fresh greens with very little hassle.  No special tools or skills necessary, saving time for more important holiday-related tasks, like baking – and eating – cookies.
