TOMORROW at the Rockport Farmers Market!

Thanks to all those who came out last week for the first summer Rockport Farmers’ Market! We had a great time and are looking forward to an entire summer of starting the weekends off with awesome food from local growers and makers. As usual, the Rockport Festivals Market booth will be staffed with volunteers to answer questions and offer information. Festival posters will be available for purchase (with other great stuff, such as t-shirts, coming soon!).

Dog Days of Summer

I hope everyone else is staying as cool as these pups! They are lucky they have their Fairy Dog Ma to keep them cool.

Summer Black and Whites From Bill Langer

Hi Joey,
Wow, everyone is having fun with black and white these days — I’ve always loved B&W so I went ahead and spent the dough on NIK Silver Efex, and boy, is it great! Nothing like it for spectacular skies! Here are three pix that I took a couple of summers ago, and just converted.
All the best, Bill

GMG Topside Grille Art Show This Summer

Doug Silva who has been making some fantastic changes as manager at his father’s Topside Grill invited our posse to fill the newly renovated space with our photos.  If you haven’t heard by now from Paul Morrison’s Seasonal Restaurant Openings list,  The Topside will be opening April 1st.

We stopped by Saturday morning to drop off our work and I’ll be posting some images of each of our contributors with their pieces all week long.  You can check it all out for yourself (and get some great grub) on the 1st at Topside grill.

The GMG contributors who will have work for sale- Sharon Lowe, Alicia Pensarosa, David Cox, EJ LeFaveur, Donna Ardizzoni.

Here Manny gets an interview with Doug.

I love summer food!

Lunch today – Tomatoes right from my garden with fresh mozzarella and basil growing on the window sill, EVOO, and summer squash and zucchini from the Farmers Market sprinkled with dill. Yum!

A Taste of Summer

It’s only 3 months away. Once this snow melts, we’ll be able to believe that summer will actually come again with the Red Sox, ice cream at the Cupboard after supper, walks on Good Harbor, and of course, FIESTA! Here’s a little teaser of good things to come! Enjoy!
