For those of you who didn’t get to the Gloucester Guerrilla Art Project II last week, this is my photo video of “Wall Street Autumn”. My friend Peter Fedele is playing amazing guitar on the musical piece from his CD Hullabaloo. He lives in Rockport with his wife and 3 children. I love listening to him play.

Whose eyes are these??
Joey has been posting the barn-raising process on 133 in Essex. I rode by the other day and saw the near finished building. Cows in the field, beautiful fence – feels real old timey.
Luckily this isn’t today’s weather, but it could be at any time. Remember that old saying about New England weather? “If you don’t like the weather, just wait a minute- it will change.” See a slideshow of my photos on our ever-chaning weather. —Sharon
Last week’s winner was Paul Frontiero AKA capeannpainter who on a long shot guessed the identity as a Lane’s Cove shack.
Because of the economy, we have suspended asking small businesses for prize donations. BUT… it’s still fun and past winners don’t have to feel guilty about guessing!

The Blynman Bridge and the Blynman School were named for Rev. Richard Blynman, the first minister of the town. The History of the Town of Gloucester, written by John James Babson in 1860, has the interesting background of the bridge and Cape Ann in general. I’m going back to read more.
I met Tim several years ago when he was announcing the International Dory Races . He has a million little kids who are always on the beach cheering on Daddy in the seine boat races during Fiesta! Here’s more about those races and why he’s smiling in this photo. —Sharon

When I lived on Marchant St., I had a skylight in my room. I had to stand on the bed to get this shot. Living in the middle of town has its benefits!

And while your child is occupied, maybe YOU can look for a new book or check out music to take you far, far away from the real world!

A couple of days ago, I posted a cropped photo of this dad and his daughter. One person said they knew who it was, but wouldn’t tell Ha! But now we know. It’s Jeremiah Nicastro and his happy daughter! Smile, Allie!
Paul Frontiero took a long shot when he guessed the Lane’s Cove shack and when I notified him, he wrote back….
“You gotta be kidding me?
I’ve been down there alot. Must be implanted in my noggin.
