Palazola’s Customizes Any Shirt Or Sweatshirt

I was talking to Jack Palazola from Palazola’s Sporting Goods on Main Street in beautiful Downtown Gloucester and he told me how they can totally customize any shirt you would like with the use of a three part system they have developed. If you look in the photo below you will see three aqua arrows pointing at one t-shirt.

They have separate imprints for “Gloucester” on the top, then any sport logo in the middle and then “Fishermen” down below. They also have the imprints in maroon and white.

So say you wanted a Gloucester football t-shirt in a size medium on a grey colored shirt. They don’t have to stock them in every size, shape and configuration. They can make you exactly what you want just by switching out the color and size of the shirt and exactly the names and sports logo you want in the middle.

Genius!

Palazola’s Sporting Goods Gloucester Cap

Palazola’s carries many different unique Gloucester Sports items like this Gloucester Pro Style G Cap.

There are hundred of customizable shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies and more that Palazola’s can imprint with your favorite Gloucester School sports logo and they can usually do it within a day or two.

Overlooked Gloucester Treasures- Palazola’s Sporting Goods

Palazola’s Sporting Goods, originally uploaded by captjoe06.

Yesterday I stopped by Palazola’s to visit my buddy Stephanie who happened to be off for the day.
What I didn’t realize because I haven’t been in there for so long is what a local treasure the place is.  In one store you can get sneakers, skates sharpened, bike repair, tennis racket re-strung, custom monogramming, Gloucester Pro baseball caps, customized local sports imprints, and much much much more.  It is amazing how many sporting goods and sporting goods services that they cram under that one roof.
If you haven’t been by in a while, stop by and see just how much they offer.

Hand Carved Striper At Menage Gallery

I’ve been seeing more and more of the hand carved striper bass around town.  One looked particularly cool over the threshold of someone’s house just past the stone bridge heading toward Annisquam.

The Dress Code- Downtown Tomato Garden- Thinking Green!

There has been a trend that I’ve noticed since we did the Downtown Flower Box Competition.

That trend is of downtown stores and restaurants planting veggies and herbs.

Eric at Passports put up flower boxes after I gave himcrap about not having an entry in the Flower Box Competition and he decided to plant all kinds of herbs and hot peppers to use in the restaurant. That’s pretty damn cool!

The Topside Grill also has herbs that they plant in their Flower Boxes.

Now I found out Babara at The Dress Code has planted tomatos! I’ll be keeping track of the progress of the Dress Code Tomatos here on the blog. Here are the first pics-
