Cape Ann Coffee New Outdoor Cafe Seating Area

While stopping in for my sausage egg and cheese on croissant sandwich at Cape Ann Coffee, I noticed they are building a cool new outdoor seating area.  It’s a great idea.

I wish our downtown restaurants put in those cool fold away windows on the front of their buildings so we could have al fresco semi outdoor dining like they do on Newbury Street and in South Boston.

Well It Sounded Like A Good Idea At The Time

Oy!

After dinner with the everyone from the British Glamour shoot and the Mrs at Da Rudda, we decided to head over to The Crows Nest.

After bottles of wine, beer and martinis at Da Rudda, spirits were high and some of my fishermen told me they were going to be at The Crows Nest so I figured we would head over to meet up with them. None of my guys were there but we decided to hang out anyway and man up with some shots at the bar.

Yes I know I’m an idiot. Yes I know that staying out til midnight and pounding down shots when you have to get up for work a couple hours later is never a good idea. But I did it anyway.

And it was a hell of a lot of fun!

Look for Cyntia in the upcoming Victoria’s Secret catalog. From here she heads to the Carribean for a ten day shoot for Victoria’s Secret.

Here is a model page with pictures and a bio of her.

For the record she didn’t drink any booze and ate salmon while most everyone else ate lobster.

FIL Tony’s Killer Ribs

My Father in law Tony makes the absolute best ribs I’ve ever had.

There are several factors that make his the best.  Number one is that he slow cooks them and they are always moist and tender.  Number two, the secret rib sauce he makes is the perfect blend of sweet and spicy.  Delicious.  He gave my brother in law the recipe and he keeps it locked up in a firebox.

Good Time Had By All Fiesta Saturday at Cape Ann Brewing

The brewery tours were pretty popular as when one would start a whole gaggle of folks headed into the back to get the first hand brewery experience.

Very laid back especially for being in the heart of the Fiesta.

Clyde Hall’s North Carolina Style Pulled Pork Sandwich

In North Carolina they use a vinegar and tomato based dip.

Clyde Hall, golf course builder extrodinaire and former son of Manchester brings up a couple of smoked shoulder’s when he comes up from North Carolina to visit Mark Ring each year for the Fiesta. Mark puts out quite a spread on Fiesta Sunday with his wife and Saint Patty’s Day fellow celebrant Kara Ring.
