Mary Rhinelander’s Limited Edition Cape Ann Blue Willow China Design

There is a limited edition copy of Mary Rhinelander’s Blue Willow China Pattern Design at Alexandra’s Bread Co.

It hasn’t been made into china yet but I’m thinking that some of the finer shops in town like The Black Swan, Stone Leaf, Pauline’s Gifts or Pisces would sell the hell out of this if it were made into China to collectors or people that love the area.

Timeless, just like the stuff that comes out of the Acorn Press.  This framed, numbered, limited edition print sells for only $35 at Alexandra’s Bread Co.

Isn’t it amazing how Matty can paint the reflection of a lousy photographers hand in his painting?  🙂

The portrait of my girls on the beach that Matty did was a big hit.

Alyssa Gariepy Art At Pleasant Street Tea and Coffee Co

Alyssa has hands down the best tats out of any female I’ve ever known personally.  Shawn Cromwell holds the title in the male category.  Jerry Mackay comes close but the colors on Shawn’s take the cake.

You know how some people just put skin art on themselves that don’t really make sense or they are following some trend set by whatever tattoo happens to be popular at the time?  Not the case in any of the people I have listed above.  They are all deeply personal tattoos done with considerable thought and meaning.

Anyway Alyssa and a bunch of other super cool folks had a show this weekend at Pleasant Street Tea and Coffee Co.  Here she is-

Buoy Painting At Art Haven pics By Thom Falzorano

I can’t even believe how many events went down yesterday.  How much fun and community involvement and volunteerism went into making it such an incredible day for Gloucester folks to enjoy.

There is so much to cover between the start of the day at City Hall with the Docksiders, Gingerbread House Competition, and hanging out with the Disney Characters.

Then off to Art Haven for Buoy Painting and Ice Sculpting.

Then to watch the star and buoys get placed upon the lobster trap tree.

Quick lunch at Espresso ($7.95 Chicken Marsala rocked).

Hop over to the Cape Ann Museum for a children’s Christmas caroling concert with FOB Mikayla Ciolino.

Then back to City Hall for Christmas play.

To Pleasant St Tea and Coffee Co for killer hot chocolate and a fatastic artisan show.

A quick stroll down Main St to catch up with Janice Lufkin Shea and then back to the homestead.

If you don’t see your pic today  it’s only because there is so much content we will be releasing it over the next few days.  Everything is getting posted though- fear not.

Michael Seif Interviewed At The Rocky Neck Goes Downtown Gallery

This from Mike-

Hi Joey –
Thanks for doing the fun video of my work yesterday. Unfortunately, after all my calculating, I was off by a week for the opening reception of the Rockport Art Association photography show – it is December 13.

Any way to put this corrected date along with the video?
Thanks again. I hope to see you at an opening in the near future.
Mike
