Pond and Ocean — pat morss
Our two local water habitats are Niles Pond and the Eastern Point shoreline, and we all share both.

Knowing we have a slip in Manchester by using the Dockwa app to make a reservation makes the trip an easy yes decision on a nice Saturday morning

It cost us $8 to tie up at the perfect docks right in downtown Manchester. The harbor master was super friendly and greeted us and we walked up the ramp and hit up Ally’s Beach Street Cafe which is always excellent.
If you sign up for Dockwa boat reservation system which harbors use all around the country I have a referral code that gets you $15 free off your first boat reservation-
Joseph Ciaramitaro has given you credit to use on Dockwa! To claim, simply enter Joseph Ciaramitaro’s referral code during checkout. Referral Code: J4ME4

So I Showed Salvy His Video
Someone recently sent me this YouTube video done with Salvy Benson about his Greasy Pole victories. Yesterday I told Salvy that I had just watched it. He had never seen it himself….so I gave him my phone and had him watch it. So, here’s Salvy watching Salvy….and a link to the video if you’ve yet to see it yourself. Thanks to Carl Mckay-Stratton for snapping the photo since Salvy had mine.

Beautiful Day At Good Harbor Beach
It was so pretty, yet a little lonely for the lifeguard chairs, at Good Harbor Beach recently. I thought you might enjoy the view.

From Nancy Goodman
The Gloucester Racial Justice Team will be launching this 21-Day Racial Equity Challenge on Juneteenth (next Sunday June 19 at the Cape Ann Museum Green). The Challenge is a self-guided learning journey that takes a look at the historical and current impacts of racism. Using videos, podcasts and readings, the goal is to learn about and commit to racial equity. Participants will even learn about small steps they can take to help create a more equitable Gloucester for everyone.
Thanks so much!
Nancy, Co-Chair, Gloucester Racial Justice Team
