Guided autobiography is a fun and effective process for life review
that combines autobiographical writing with small group experiences.
Each week we will use prompting questions to jumpstart and organize our memories
around a meaningful life theme. The weekly sessions also provide a
safe space for sharing our work-in-progress, and participants will be
asked to share two pages that they wrote during the previous week.
Guided autobiography is especially powerful for those entering or
wanting to enter a new phase of life, but everyone can benefit.
This group will meet for ten Mondays Starting September 17 and ending on November 19 from 7-9 p.m. at the Maud / Olson Library at 108 East Main Street.
Class cost: $250
Minimum enrollment: 5
Maximum enrollment: 8
We had lunch at the “new” Pier 23 recently. Contrary to expectation, we each ordered a wrap. Stuffed with real chicken chunks, accompanied by strips of bacon….and the chipotle mayo was more chipotle than mayo which I loved. Friendly service, steady customer stream, varied menu…..we’ll be back!

Last chance to see Boustrophedons (“…every other line is flipped, or reversed or mirrored”) group show at Flatrocks Gallery. The closing Reception and special event is Sunday September 16, 2-4pm

This Egret was so beautiful and we know that soon they will be heading south.

I thought I was going to get some cool kite flying shots when I drove by Good Harbor Beach one recent windy morning. Instead I found this adventure-seeker.

I guess you have to expect this to happen once in a while:

Did you know that Crossfit Cape Ann offers a discount for all current students?

The primary goal at CFCA is to help our members increase their capability, durability (both mental and physical) and most importantly longevity through consistent quality movement in a fun and supportive environment. We have evolved over the years into what we’d consider more of a “lifestyle” crossfit gym. We focus on exercises that we feel have the best carryover to the demands of our member’s lives outside of the gym and less on competition or Crossfit as “sport”.
