It is unusual to spot an osprey right in our backyard near Dolliver’s Neck, but we were treated to this surprise visitor yesterday. I was even more delighted to see he brought his meal along with him! You can see him gripping it even in the tree branch. An appropriate way to end summer, I guess. You are welcome back anytime, buddy!

Rockport Art Association & Museum’s Experimental Group Opens Fourteenth Show

The Rockport Art Association & Museum’s Experimental Group opens its fourteenth group exhibition, “Unexpected No. Fourteen” at Rockport Art Association & Museum, 12 Main St., Rockport, MA. This juried show, with a theme of ‘Renewal’, features artworks of both the RAA&M’s artists and contributing members. Works on view in the exhibition range in mediums to include paintings, mixed-media, graphics, sculpture, digital art and photography. The exhibition runs from October 15 – November 1 , 2020. Current RAAM Gallery hours are Thursday-Sunday, 11:00am-4:00pm.
The Experimental Group is a creative forum, its’ main mission is to increase public awareness and to foster self-expression by bringing artists together to explore and share ideas that cultivate creative freedom. The EG is encouraged and supported by the Rockport Art Association & Museum.
