Who Is The Fruit Cup Ninja?
Bill Cox writes-
For the life of me, I can’t figure this out. When Melissa and I cleaned this area out a few weeks ago, we must have found a dozen or so fruit cups. Today I find another….I am vexed! Do we have a fruit cup ninja running around? Was there a fruit cup truck accident I was unaware of? Pagan ritual item?

THEN and NOW–Paint Factory (A New Beginning)
A lot of people don’t realize there is an open courtyard space that runs between the brick and wooden buildings at the Paint Manufactory. (see post card image)
As part of the restoration process, one of the courtyard spaces is currently being cleaned up by Kerr and his crew.
A pretty spectacular space.

Hi Joey,
Here are a couple of photos from the most recent Cape Ann Community Contra Dance. There’s a shot of the band leaders with a host of enthusiastic sit-in musicians and another of the dancers ready to take off.
Our next dance is Saturday, August 24, 8:00 PM at the First Baptist Church, 38 Gloucester Ave., Gloucester.

Joey: I noted the photos on Good Morning Gloucester of Adventure sailing again last week. Here are a couple I took in 1988 – the first of Adventure returning to Gloucester, and the second of her appearing in the Labor Day schooner race. Best, Pat Morss
Another great day (and night) off to relax in Gloucester.

Wednesday morning action on the harbor from Lowell Peabody
OMG, OMG they were so good. The large tail is left because I had both of our legs and knuckles that I love. I mentioned to my hubby, maybe we should get smaller ones, his response: “why on earth would we want to do that? Miss having lobster rolls? Are you crazy?” I suspect we’ll be back next week.
My very best friend who now lives in SF, grew up in Cambridge (and was close to Julia child, yikers) will be visiting around our son’s wedding. She wants lobsters, so we will call ahead for a small order. She taught me ( from Pittsburgh) how to eat lobster and doesn’t leave a smidgen except the shell behind.
Thank you! Thank you!
I am stuffed ( in a delicious way)
Best,
JoAnn
