Total white out conditions at Rafe’s Chasm

We walked to Rafe’s Chasm, which we live really close, the ocean was very high, but due to the white out conditions could barley see the waves.  The wind was incredible.  Lucky I had a heavy coat on or may have blown away.

Snow, windy and kayaks on Magnolia Beach

Went out early on Thursday morning before it was dangerous, around 8:00 am, and the white out conditions were already starting.  Be careful and try not to go out.  It is pretty though.

These cold days make for some pretty photos

Driving on Rocky Neck the other day, these ducks caught my eye, finding the only space with water instead of ice.  Take a look at the name of the boat, The Endurance.  Very appropriate.

Very unusual formation of ice on Rocky Neck

Sunday morning after the snow

I love the snow on the streets and how pretty it always look the next day. Took a walk out to Rafe’s Chasm and it did not disappoint.

Splash Over on Stacy Boulevard

On Tuesday at high tide the waves in the harbor were crashing over the wall. At one point I actually got drenched. How fun.

JOSE’S WAVES TODAY

The snapshot was taken three hours before high tide. I wasn’t able to get away at noon to have a look and wonder what remnants of Jose our readers saw today?
