Gloucester’s Waterfront Festival and Rotary Pancake Breakfast

Fun Saturday morning:  Rick and I went to Gloucester’s Rotary Pancake Breakfast and then to the Waterfront Festival.

The Vernal Pond was there with their pretty snakes.  Here is Luna:  She is 12 feet long and can grow to 24 feet.  Yikes.

Bernard Domingo from Wire and Bead Critters is a wonderful artist.  His business is based in Zimbabwe with his team of eight employees.  So talented.  This tiger was amazing, and Rick and I bought a small elephant.  To reach Bernard: DomingoWireWorks#Instagram

Pretty Little River

Little River at high tide looked so beautiful and peaceful on Wednesday.  Grateful to be able to visit the beautiful scenery in Gloucester.

A rainbow after Thursday’s late afternoon rain

On Thursday, after I left the beach due to thunder, it started to rain.  Not for long and then the sun came out and looked out my deck and saw this.

Another creation by Gloucester’s Artist Kris Francis

Love this humpback whale and her baby..  Kris is so talented and  he only uses recycled materials.   You can find Kris on Instagram:

Kris told me there is 100 feet of chains that originally were on Gloucester’s Midnight Sun.

The only way to relax

On Tuesday afternoon, this nice couple come into the Gloucester’s Welcoming Center.  They were fun and getting ready to go on a 8:00 pm. boat ride.  Just as we were closing up, went out to say have fun, and they were sitting on Gloucester’s wonderful rocking chair on this great porch.

Oh what a summer

The summer of 2025 has been one of the best.  Wearing my bathing suit under work clothes is my mantra.  That way no excuses not to go to the beach.  Very grateful.

Taking a walk on Stacy Boulevard.

The flowers on the Boulevard are getting better and better.  Thank you Generous Gardeners for all your hard work.

A gift from mother nature

So excited that the star gazer lilies we planted bloomed beautifully.   Usually, the wonderful deer that visit the yard, get to them before I can cut them.

Hazy end of day

After my shift at Gloucester’s Welcoming Center, drove to Magnolia Landing to enjoy the end of the day.  The sun was there somewhere under the hazy skies.

Summer beach days

The memories salty kids make last a lifetime.  When I was a kid, remember such great times at the beach.  By the way, still a salty kid.

Summer fun on Magnolia Pier

Jumping off the Magnolia Pier is a passage of life.  We have all done it, but the top of ramp.  NOPE… looks like fun, though.

Tuesday afternoon at Gloucester’s Welcoming Center

On Tuesday, the weather was hot and wonderful.  Stage Fort Park is a jewel for the City of Gloucester.

Maritime Gloucester

Prior to the Pier Fest at Maritime Gloucester, took some photos on the pier.  The sky was beautiful and looked like it was telling a story.
