Beautiful tribute to the crew of the Lily Jean
Mary Bromberger Bowles, a wonderful Gloucester artist, took the collage of the faces of the Lily Jean and pressed flowers and put this beautiful picture in a floating frame. Mary told me she wanted to do something to honor the crew. Mary has generously left the frame at the Man at the Wheel. Please feel free to go visit this tribute. So Salty 2026
Even though the temperature was 11 degrees. Rick and walked Main Street to see the ice sculptures. They were amazing and well worth walking and checking out the ice sculptures. Since it is only 11 degrees, I think these fun sculptures will be around for awhile.

Holiday Shows 2025
Would like to thank all the venues that held our holiday shows. The Cape Ann Makers Market put on 3 shows from October to December. The Magnolia Library for Magtoberfest, Cruiseport , and The Cut, these shows were extremely successful. The Elks venue is always a pleasure, The Magnolia Women’s Club Holiday Show, and Marshalls Farmstand for a pop up. Thank you to the coordinators and venues for all their hard work. And I would especially want to thank the customers who came out to shop and most important shop local. Thank you again.

On Saturday, November 29, 2025, the Cape Ann Makers Market was held at the fabulous venue Cruiseport. Thank you to these three women for organizing a great event. Aniko Baglaneas Ewes, of Cape Ann Salt, Deanna Fay-Anaya, Hold & Fast, and Angie Butler, Eleven Eleven Elixir. These three women worked so hard, and we had an amazing and successful event. Josh Falk amazing new painting on Rogers Street is pretty. The colors on brick give it a texture. When I went by on Wednesday, this talented artist was still at work finishing this creation. The eye follows you.
