Went to Whale Rock Art Studio on Sunday, 27 Lexington Avenue, Magnolia, Gloucester, MA. Amazing paintings by Loren Doucette and Matthew Billey. People were admiring the great paintings by these two very talented artists. Whale Rock Art Studio offers painting classes for kids and adults. Very friendly studio with great light. The great artist Kris Francis’s daughter is a talented artist as well. She does these great pumpkins made out of recycled materials.
Josh Falk amazing new painting on Rogers Street is pretty. The colors on brick give it a texture. When I went by on Wednesday, this talented artist was still at work finishing this creation. The eye follows you.

Each garden on the tour offers a different and inviting array of shrubs and blossoms, artfully arranged and carefully tended by their owners. Stroll along Shore Road viewing over a dozen private gardens, many with glorious ocean views. This easygoing 1.6 mile tour showcases a variety of cottage gardens, rose gardens, estate gardens, and also includes an amazing Olmsted garden. We suggest purchasing tickets in advance on our website at: www.generousgardeners.org. Tickets will also be available at the start of the tour at the Magnolia Library and Community Center, One Lexington Avenue, Gloucester. A new wonderful Art Studio has opened at 15 Lexington Avenue, Magnolia, Gloucester, MA. The studio has beautiful artwork by artist Nancy LeGendre. Some of paintings have been painted with fluorescent paint. Very fun.

Gloucester’s talented artist, Kris Francis has a couple of new amazing sculptures. Kris’s work always amazes me, but these Giraffes actually made me emotional.
Kris told me that he has been working on the Giraffes since February. Kris also stated it took 2,000 horseshoes to make these beautiful sculptures. Kris is truly a talented artist.
