Amazing how we adapt to the weather here in New England.  Freezing one day and the next day (55 degrees) everyone was out and about.

Manchester by the Sea Historical Spring Art Show

These metals will be at the Manchester Historical Museum Spring Art Show.  The opening reception will be on March 6, 2022 from 2:00 -6:00 at 10 Union Street Manchester by the Sea, through closing reception Saturday, April 9, 10 -2.  Thank you Cape Ann Giclee for the metal prints.

 

A visit to Marshalls Farmstand

Love visiting my friends over at Marshalls Farmstand.  The alpacas love to come over to say hi,, the beautiful large horse Stratton is so affectionate and gentle.

Walking Magnolia Beach on Friday I was waiting for sunset, the wind was howling and very cold.  But again the pre sunset did not disappoints.

Its been a busy week and its only Wednesday! Step one of the permitting process with the City of G is complete. New marketing materials have been ordered to send out to prospective vendors. And registration forms have been submitted for Wellfest2022 at the Cape Ann YMCA. Oh…. and!!! New FARM Alert! Our vendor application season has only just begun and BAM! New FARM! Looking forward to seeing what the folks at Twin Birch Farm, Ipswich, MA have in store for us this summer! I love this time of year!

This event will showcase the Cape Ann region’s broad range of health and wellness services. From yoga and massage to general health screenings and resources, this event will provide something for people of all ages!

VACATION ENTERTAINMENT LINEUP

Kicking off February school vacation, another FREE Children’s Program of entertainment is on tap for
Saturday, Feb. 19 – right in your home, via virtual internet Zoom broadcast – presented by the
Gloucester Meetinghouse Foundation to start Cape Ann public schools’ 2022 Winter Vacation.

From 12:30 to 2 p.m., the lineup includes story time with book readings by popular Cape Ann authors
and performers Stan & Daisy Nell, Alice Gardner, Peter Berkrot, and Pat Johnson; a puppet show by
Through Me to You Puppeteers, and a sea-shanties singalong led by Rockport musician Corey Wrinn.

REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Sign up by 5 p.m. February 18 and you’ll get an email with a link for
connecting to Zoom AND an option for a $10 discount
