Time to make the doughnuts. So welcome back that fabulous father/son combo plate of Rick and Alec Razdan. Two of the best known local musicians I’ve had the pleasure to work with. With their armada of saxophones and clarinets, lord knows what could happen. But by the process of random selection, i’m sure all your prayers will be answered. They’re dragging in their musical brethren from the A-Train Orchestra, namely Mr. Dan Whalen, on gritar,and David “Doc” Vincent, on drums to add to the confusion. We’re back to our 8:30 start, so c’mon down and have a ball!

This was the first time going to NYE In Rockport. I got my button and went straight to The Shalin Liu. I moved around a bit. Got a seat right away in the balcony then asked if it was ok to move down to the main floor. It was excellent. Twenty dollars for a button and I got to see two great shows at the same venue. There was music all over the small town of Rockport and all kinds of festivities. I was happy,so there was no need to venture out. Minglewood Shuffle with Host T Max was a big hit and a surprise from some Gloucester Firemen treating the crowd with some Christmas Carols!

TMax opened The Minglewood Shuffle then Lynn Taylor, Steve Caraway, Mosey Greams, Bradley Royds, Ric Saint Germain and The Tree House Charlatans (who sat in for Jake Pardee who couldn’t make this event). It was an excellent night of live music at Minglewood. Each performer brought something different to the stage, originals, new songs and a few covers and each one was on fire. Be sure to check out the next shuffle on the third Thursday of the month and that is on January 15th 2015.

He plays to die for and sings like an banshee in heat. You’re gonna love it. Our international composition also includes Mr. Benny Benson, our Irish Ace of Pace, on drummps, and your favorite Polish-Italian bassist: me. Ask your doctor if Dave sag’s Blues Party is right for you. Do not attempt to drive or operate heavy machinery whilst under the influence of three chords.

Well, it’s time for that most holy trinity of wise guy men: the Three Stooges of the East. (Boston, that is…). I do mean the perspiring trio of Edd Scheer, Ricky Russell ,and Mario Perrett.  These guys are the Hamburger Helper® of the blooze. With them around, anything can happen, and usually does. Ed’s an amazing singer and frontman who always puts out the grease to make my head spin. Throw in Ricky on gootar and vocals and things brighten up. Add Mario, former teen idol, on vocals and sax and what’s left? Chaos! But, seriously, folks, these are my favorite guys cuz we all get a chance to sing and play more stupid songs than are necessary and to have random harmonies to boot!  Come see!
