My View of Life on the Dock

This summer has been wonderful. Swimming is so relaxing. The salt water is very healing and peaceful. We are blessed to live at the beach; you can work and then go to the beach.

I was in Boston overnight to see the Chris Stapleton concert at Fenway and drove by the Great Elephant Migration while taking an Uber from dinner to Kenmore square. It was a great reminder to make sure we saw it before leaving town in the morning. While there were lots of people enjoying the elephants on Saturday evening, it was much quieter Sunday morning. They are definitely worth seeing if you find yourself in the city…..or plan a trip specifically to see them and grab lunch/dinner, etc.
They are on the Commonwealth Avenue Mall until September 13th. You can read more about the Great Elephant Migration at the link below.

Well known local artist Jeff Weaver is one of the solo shows currently on exhibit at the North Shore Arts Association on Pirates Lane. The show closes Aug 30 so you should get down there and check out the artwork. His exhibit is in the back room on the main floor and you’ll see Gloucester in a way perhaps you haven’t seen previously. I strongly recommend you check it out even if you aren’t big into artwork. He has a gallery on Rogers St.
