Happy tails to Nova, formerly known as Trudy, and all 77 animals who found their forever homes last month!
“We renamed her Nova because it means new beginnings which is true for her and us. But she is doing great! Eating very well going on walks and adventures everyday. She loves the dog park and has made some friends there.”
MEET KODA

Koda is a 5-month-old puppy who recently made his way to Massachusetts from Georgia in hopes of finding his forever home. He’s everything you’d expect from a young pup-happy-go-lucky, playful, and incredibly sweet, with a zest for life that will keep you smiling! Like many puppies his age, Koda is still learning his manners. He has those sharp puppy teeth and can be a bit mouthy during play, especially when he’s excited-ankles beware!
Because of this playful, energetic style, Koda would do best in a home without young children and with someone who understands puppy behavior and is ready to redirect his energy with toys, treats, and positive training. Koda is still very much a baby and is eager to learn. With patience, consistency, and lots of love, he’s sure to grow into a wonderful companion.

MEET PUDDING
Shelter life has been a bit overwhelming for Pudding, which is why you will frequently find him somberly hiding out in the back of his kitty condo. But stop by to visit with him and he will perk up and eagerly meet your touch with warmth, revealing a content purr! Pudding is certainly full of love, and he would truly shine in a quiet, calm home without other pets.
This big, handsome guy has had quite the journey. Pudding first came to us as a stray back in 2019, and not much is known about his life before then. He was adopted and spent years in a home, but recently found his way back to us when he and his feline sibling just couldn’t see eye to eye.
Pudding is considered special needs due to a past ear polyp that left him with a slight head tilt and being FIV positive. He’s otherwise a sweet, gentle soul who’s just waiting for the right person to see him for who he is.
Route 1 Icon…

If Mike does not accept the challenge he needs to donate $25 to the charity of his choice! Once Mike completes his obligation and submits his video he will nominate the next person. Much like the Ice Bucket Challenge!
