Rebecca Bradshaw steps into the Artistic Leadership role for historic season
The Gloucester Stage Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Rebecca Bradshaw as the Company’s new Artistic Director after an extensive nationwide search process.
As Artistic Director, Rebecca will join Managing Director Christopher Griffith in working with GSC’s Board and staff on shared goals that strengthen the theater’s commitment to presenting socially relevant and intellectually stimulating works with powerful, uplifting, intriguing, and inspiring productions and performances. Rebecca takes over the role from the Award-winning Actress and Director Paula Plum, who has been serving as the theater’s Interim Artistic Director since Robert Walsh stepped down following the 2021 season.
“Rebecca has been appointed from an exceptionally strong array of candidates.” shared Managing Director Christopher Griffith. “We are incredibly pleased to have Rebecca leading the artistic vision of Gloucester Stage, bringing the experience of an acclaimed directing and producing career. I am especially grateful to have a business partner with such a strong commitment to the artistic community, championing diverse voices, and theater education.”
“I am thrilled to be back in a theatre community I hold so dear and to have the opportunity to become part of the thriving arts and culture scene in Gloucester. As a leader, I hope to build upon the foundation of GSC’s past while continuing to challenge and inspire audiences to come,” said Rebecca Bradshaw on her appointment as Artistic Director.

Craft Fair to Support Special Need Dances
Place: Gloucester Fraternity Club
Date: April 23, 2023 Time: 11-4pm
Cost: $40
Includes table and 2 chairs
Please email: Glostarocks01930@gmail.com for an application. Janine Brooks is the organizer and contact person for vendors – many local vendors know her for the great craft events she organizes at the Elks. Applications must be submitted no later than March 20th.
You will be notified of your status on or before March 24th.
Full payment will be due at that time if accepted. We ask that only products hand made by you be sold at the market. Some categories may fill up quickly so be sure to get your application in as soon as possible.

We hope that people will support this event to raise money for the Special Needs Dances held at the Elks. Our son Yianni and his friends absolutely love and look forward to these wonderful dances that are put on by volunteers from the Fraternity Club!
My wife Anna who owns Cape Ann Sea Salt Co. will be one of the vendors. It will be a great opportunity for local vendors to kickstart the season and for buyers to get their Mother’s Day shopping done all while supporting a fantastic cause!
Thank You,
James Eves
