Chickity Check It! A couple of Cape Ann history blog posts From Rob Fitzgibbon

Dear Joey at Good Morning Gloucester.

Love reading your view about life on the dock.

Wanted to share with you a couple of Cape Ann history blog posts I recently completed that I think you might find interesting:

This one is about the cursed Gloucester fishing schooner “hoodoo ship” Charles Haskell:

and the second one is about the Depression-era “Rockport Maniac” unsolved murders:

My View from the Deck of Lobsta’ Land

I met some friends quickly to have a drink on the deck of Lobsta’ Land. My basil cucumber splash was delicious and we shared the Lobsta’ Land sampler appetizer with yummy coconut shrimp, crab cakes, calamari, etc. A musician was playing some perfect summer songs and the view is pretty sweet. The deck space really transports you to a vacation vibe. It felt good to “get away” for a bit.
