I lived in Aiken, SC and grew to love grits. Great with breakfast and topped with butter. Now I eat them all the time with any meal. They seemed dull in the beginning, but now I absolutely love grits!
Then you aren’t eating them right! Cheesy grits with Shrimp is one of the most popular seafood & steakhouse dishes in the south!! They are great with eggs & bacon, a medley of fresh veggies & Parmesan Cheese, meatballs & mozarella, lots of butter with salt & pepper, anywhere you would use polenta – So many ways to prepare them! Find my sister, the Reverend Roma, and she will mend your palate.
