I actually did this marathon when friends came up to Gloucester from New Jersey to visit me in October many years ago. They stayed at Ocean View Inn, toured Yankee Clipper Inn, went to Helmut’s Strudel, drove along the shore to see Magnolia, took pictures in Manchester, passed through Beverly Farms and over the Beverly-Salem Bridge to check out Haunted Happenings. Return trip included the Blue Marlin Inn in Essex and Rocky Neck. Whew!
