Whenever the ice cream man pulled up to the Fire Station on School Street I would run down the hill, we only lived 3 houses up, and my mother would always let me buy a “Push-Up” (They were chocolate and vanilla)…My mother only spoke “Broken English”, so when she gave me the money she would tell me to buy a “Pushy-Pushy” because she didn’t know how to say “Push-Up” 🙂
