ARE YOU WORRIED ABOUT RUNNING OUT OF MONEY? WILL YOU OUTLIVE YOUR MONEY OR WILL IT OUTLIVE YOU?

Are you successful? Do you have adult children who are struggling? Do you want to give them a leg-up in this challenging world they face today? One way to transfer some of your assets while you are alive to a younger generation is to purchase and fund permanent insurance for them, employing the ‘be your own banker‘ concept. i.e. stacking the cash value and using the accumulation for a source of loans without having to go through financial underwriting. Another good approach is this: if you are able to employ premium financing solutions towards any variety of complex financial and tax problems you may be facing, consider purchasing a significant amount of permanent insurance in order to achieve your personal financial planning goals, business planning goals or legacy intentions. Lost Earring

Hi,

I get your email daily and thought you might be able to help me.

On Sunday, my wife lost an earring (small square filled with little diamonds) somewhere along Atlantic Road or on Good Harbor beach.  Could you please reach out to your followers to see if anyone possibly found it.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated help!

Steve

Boston Globe: Learn more about Edward Hopper in #GloucesterMA Cape Ann Museum guided walking tours

“An Off Season Stroll Through Edward Hopper’s Vision of Gloucester” Boston Globe article by Diane Bair and Pamela Wright. Reporters enjoyed a wonderful Cape Ann Museum Walking Tour followed up by a visit to Cape Ann Brewery. Read the piece here

Upcoming walking tours by Cape Ann Museum:

Cranberry Bog at Patriot Place

While shopping at Bass Pro Shops over the weekend down at Patriot Place, we took a quick walk on the Cranberry Bog Nature Trail. Since the boys were really little a day at Bass Pro Shops has been the perfect day trip. They have always loved spending hours browsing the store’s giant inventory, watching the fish and turtles, playing the shooting game, climbing on the ATVs, and picking out fishing lures, toys, and treats. The Blue Fin lounge (temporarily closed due to COVID) has been a favorite little lunch spot…located right inside the store with lovely outdoor seating as well…it has always been a perfect spot for a quick lunch before heading home. The Nature Trail is located directly behind Bass Pro Shops and is a quick, pretty walk to take while visiting.

Deck the Docks 2020 at the Harbor Loop

The Harbor Loop behind Maritime Gloucester is all bright and merry as part of the first annual Winter Lights of Cape Ann. Maritime Gloucester has reimagined their annual Deck the Docks event for 2020 and more information is available here. Events include tree sales on sight; virtual art show and their own Holidays By The Sea gift shop featuring local artists such as Melissa Cox Photography, Anchored: Unique Gifts and Hold Fast and others. So, until you can get down there, enjoy these winter lights on the Harbor Loop.

Thermoworks Smoke is 20% off and my favorite remote BBQ Monitoring Thermometer

Northeast BBQ

Here’s the link: https://www.thermoworks.com/Smoke

By subscribing to the Thermoworks list you get an extra 10% off as well.

My good friend Joe Ball alerted me to a big sale on a commercial grade remote thermometer- the Thermoworks Smoke.

I’d always used a Maverick 732 which is a decent consumer grade remote thermometer that retails for around $60.

The Thermoworks Smoke is professional grade. The build quality is conservatively speaking about three times greater and it can be had for $79.99 including shipping.

I can’t stress enough how good of a unit this is.  If you have a grill master in your life, trust me buy this and put it away for a birthday or Christmas and they will love you for it.
