Turkeys are Taking over our Cars — pat morss
Four turkeys climbing on our cars, and a new roof ornament.

A rainy day on Thursday
As we are working from home and practicing ‘social distance” it was nice to take a ride to Good Harbor and get out. Even in the rain and clouds the footbridge looked pretty. Also do you notice how quiet everything looked.

Artists and Cultural organizations: Complete the MCC state’s COVID-19 Impact Survey by March 22
Update from the Massachusetts Cultural Council (MCC)
We are collecting data from the field on how Coronavirus is impacting you or your organization. Please respond to our survey for artists and arts and culture educators and/or our survey for cultural organizations by Sunday, March 22 at 11:59pm (EST). We have begun conversations with state legislators on future state mitigation efforts and we want to make sure they are able to craft this legislation with real data and impacts in mind.

A Drive Around the Cape
If Gloucester/Rockport is your home and you’re missing it or can’t get out, this video is for you. My boys and I were getting a little stir crazy in the house thanks to no school, no hockey, no anything (aka Covid-19) so we took a long drive around the Cape. We thought we would video tape it for those of you who may be missing home….or who are home, but can’t get out. This is Cape Ann: Part #1. Stage Fort Park to Back Beach, Rockport.
Buckle up because it’s a long ride. I thought about speeding it up, but then you would have missed things. Either way, it was a nice activity to do with the boys (who took turns filming for you) during these unchartered times.

Hawk on the Hunt
It was one of those foggy/hazy days recently when I noticed a beautiful hawk hanging out on the Newbury Pink House. Pretty soon, he took off, landed but flew off again pretty quickly. It landed in a nearby tree.
It wasn’t until I got home and looked more carefully at the pictures that I realized the hawk caught some prey on that quick flight. Nature is fascinating. Also, lesson learned: keep on clicking!
