I remember my Father taking me there in the late fifties when it was MacLeod’s (or possibly MacIntyre’s), cider store. (Whether they pressed the apples there or off-site, I’m not sure). I’m a plein air painter and have painted this building several times… it’s a very “painterly” subject, especially in the Fall when the poison ivy leaves that envelop the structure turn bright red and yellow….
I was told that someone lived there until fairly recently….
