less a comment more a question. Are you the Charles Seavy whose nickname was Tut way back in the late 50’s or early 60’s? I know ancient times, just curious

The ROSE DEROTHEA just lost her top-foremast, it’s snapped off hanging down with it’s white tip visible and the sail all jumbled. These guys had a lot of pride and drove their vessels hard. I wonder if this was a formal race or a race to market.
