Charlotte and I had a fantastic time at Maritime Gloucester Heritage Day, with much, much climbing in and out of the giant lobster pot, seeing friends, art activities, exploring the touch tank, and getting to know a Boa Constrictor 🙂

#GloucesterMA launch service is incredible.
Safe, fast, friendly. What a tremendous service provided by our town. For many the launch operators are the first people visitors encounter when coming to town by boat. These gentlemen couldn’t be any better ambassadors. Nice work TJ Ciarametaro, Mayor Sefatia, Gloucester Waterways Board, Launch operators. I give the service a ten out of ten.

Community Diaper Drive
The City of Gloucester Health Department, the YMCA, The Open Door, Pathways for Children and Sawyer Free Library are hosting a community diaper drive during the month of September. All diapers donated will benefit Gloucester families attending the Community Baby Shower on Saturday, October 5, 1 PM to 3 PM, at the Sawyer Free Library. We accept new packages of diapers and wipes, perferably sizes 1-3. For more information, contact Public Health Nurse, Kelley Hiland, 978-325-5266 or khiland@gloucester-ma.gov.
