What is the premise behind Comedy Warriors Healing Through Humor?

Bob Saget playing douchey Bob Saget on Entourage was awesome!

Family Ties is an American sitcom that aired on NBC for seven seasons, premiering on September 22, 1982, and concluding on May 14, 1989. The series, created by Gary David Goldberg, reflected the move in the United States from the cultural liberalism of the 1960s and 1970s to the conservatism of the 1980s.[3] This culture was particularly expressed through the relationship between young Republican Alex P. Keaton (portrayed by Michael J. Fox) and his ex-hippie parents, Steven and Elyse Keaton (portrayed by Michael Gross and Meredith Baxter).

The show won multiple awards, including three consecutive Emmy Awards for Michael J. Fox as Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series.

What is a stand up comedian’s diet when you’re on the road so much?

New CATA Administrator Announced –Three-Year Employment Contract Signed

GLOUCESTER, Mass. (July 23, 2019) – The Cape Ann Transportation Authority (CATA) Advisory Board announced today the appointment of Felicia S. Webb as the new CATA Administrator.

Webb, who has been serving as Interim Administrator since late last year, signed a three-year employment contract.  She succeeds Paul Talbot and brings to the position a deep knowledge of regional transit operations and finances, a network of relationships, familiarity with the key challenges facing the Authority, and a passion for public transportation.

Jim Destino, CATA Advisory Board Chair, said “The Advisory Board is confident Ms. Webb will provide innovative leadership that will build a promising outlook and vision for the Authority.  She is eager to work with and listen to customers and businesses to develop and implement long-term strategies that will enhance operations.  Under her direction she will lead CATA through and past the next phase of planning for delivering quality regional transportation.”

Ms. Webb will provide strategic leadership in the overall operation of the Authority by working with the Advisory Board, the executive management team, staff, and external stakeholders to establish long-range goals, strategies, plans and policies in support of Cape Ann’s public transportation system as governed by MGL Chapter 161B.  She will ensure adherence to the mission of the Authority to provide excellent customer service through efficient, reliable, safe, and affordable transit options to all of its customers and communities.

Lunch at Minglewood Harborside

We’ve been looking for a chance to sit outside on the newly redesigned patio at Minglewood, so we stopped for lunch recently. We were not disappointed! There is plenty of outdoor seating, attentive staff and yummy menu choices. I noticed a wide range of customers: families, senior citizens, young adults, locals as well as visitors. We ordered freckles (fried pickles) and I had a fish burrito; Jim had the Cobb Salad and we treated ourselves to dessert.

Bonus—I submitted my Serenitee card and our server Lucas informed me I am almost to a free entree!
