That part of the harbor in front of the CG Station and the former Empire Fish is very interesting from a wave dynamics perspective due to the fetch to the outer harbor and the reflecting seawall. When it is performing its standing wave act I often stop there while rowing to watch. If you get the frequency right, even something the size of the Osprey will dance.
