Mood on the Marsh

Took advantage of having the morning off to head out for sunrise with my good friend Helen who’s visiting from Chicago.  What started with light rain showers over the Essex Marsh, quickly turned into a moody fall glow with some awesome clouds!

    Lyrics
    Red sails in the sunset
    Way out on the sea
    Oh, carry my loved one
    Home safely to me
    She sailed at the dawning
    All day I’ve been blue
    Red sails in the sunset
    I’m trusting in you
    Swift wings you must borrow
    Make straight for the shore
    We marry tomorrow
And she goes sailing no more
    Red sails in the sunset
    Way out on the sea
    Oh, carry my loved one
    Home safely to me
    Red sails in the sunset
Way out on the sea (ooh-wee-ooh, wee-ooh)
    Oh, carry my loved one
    Home safely to me

  2. Lol! That’s quite a friend to get up so early. I was born a night owl. The only time I saw sunrises was after working the night shift. Beautiful photos! My husband thinks they’re great too. Love your photography!
