Note: I recently read an article in Indian Country about chestnut tree’s (Subscription required)…However there was also a book about this written in 2007 and my understanding is it also impacted the butterflies too along with many from the animal kingdom not too mention and held in high reverence.
On our walks this way we past chestnut trees and the all the folks will be out harvesting the nuts vital food source this way and Nat King Cole and The velvet Fog Mel sung classics on this might tree! The tree’s are full this year!
