Kim-thanks for the info on swallows. I went to see the plovers nesting at Good Harbor and was just as amazed by all the swallows. I saw the blue and white like your photo; others had a darker color and speckles on their tails when flying. Beautiful!

Aren’t the Plovers wonderful to watch!, And swallows, too ❤ The darker ones, with the speckles on their tails, are Barn Swallows. I would love to see a Barn Swallow nest. 🙂
