Thanks for the kind words, Joey. A lot of neighbors like Debbie and Brian Salah, Aria McElhenny, Gina Briguglio, Kathy George, Susan Kelly and too many others to name have been pitching in. The City, too, including Councilor Melissa Cox, the Community Preservation Committee, Mayor Sefatia and Mark Cole from the DPW. Burnham’s Field isn’t perfect but it’s a great place for kids and families to play and get outside. It gets a TON of use. See you soon down Burnham’s.

Thanks for the kind words, Joey. Lots of people have been working to improve Burnham’s Field — neighbors like Debbie and Brian Salah, Kathy George, Aria McElhenny, Ambie Orlando, Susan Kelly, Rick Lowe and too many others to count. And the City has been helping, too, including Councilor Melissa Cox, the Community Preservation Committee, Mayor Sefatia, Steve Winslow in Community Development and Mark Cole in the DPW. Burnham’s Field isn’t perfect but it’s a nice place for families and kids and it gets a TON of use every day. We love livin’ in Ward 2. See you soon down Burnham’s.

TLC does wonders and with a cast like John said above no wonder it moved 🙂 !!! 🙂 If I remember correctly this park is not too far from Beeman or is the same field up by cherry street? When I played for Ward-7 (Lanesville team) old days in 1964-1965, If remember play plum cove, at Beeman school, and GHS park and if I remember correctly a field in East Gloucester long ago 1964-1965 time frame! 🙂 Dave
