We were talking on GloucesterCast 177 about the One Hour At A Time Gang and how great it is and I told Donna I’d donate money toward getting the team new Shirts for the people that volunteered regularly.

So if you would like to show your appreciation to Donna and her band of merry litter picker uppers, buy one of these hoodies. 100% of the profits will go to her for the cause.  All profits from purchases of Hoodies through Sunday will go to Donna.

  1. Excellent pod cast I enjoyed the walk both back and forward! The pod cast reminds me of this saying!

“Children, a pueblo elder relates, are taught that when people walk on the land, they leave their breath wherever they go! So, wherever we walk, that spot on Earth never forgets us. When we visit these places, we know that people who have lived here are in some way still present, and that we can partake of their breath and their spirits”.

The birth control one – mom told me this as a young man – 12-13 if you mess around you better love here cause your going to marry her if she get’s pregnant! Caught my attention real quick!

But I still fooled around and fell in love with (my Love-KIm)..December 1982 best thing that every happened to me! 🙂 Dave

    1. Sorry long but touched by GMG this week when things were a bit tough!

Thank you Donna & GMG but I am only one man like many that way that care and love their communities, families, children, friends, like Joey who started this blog and all the contributors and commenters which like a magnet the force is pulled together or pull you up when you fall. I like the podcasts because it’s like I am sitting with you guys even far across the pond and listen to it while scrolling through the posts! 🙂

Had many great ones in the community that way” foundation, family, friends, and elders & mentors and you guys are all great too thanks for sharing this! My life-line When the week seems tough! life lessons we can all learn from!” There is another reason very strong toward this subject you know my childhood from phone conversation and know why I am so close to law enforcement and public safety workers as they risk life and limb to save others!

Many only see police in a authority & laws side and forget they too have children and live in the community they work each and everyday as evidenced by the great programs that way and other locations have! They often see the worst and try to make it better for those who may be tempted to take the wrong path in life or witness things they don’t understand as children until many years later!

I can say WARs take there toll on everyone nobody can every say they were not impacted by it and carry that and friendships they made during the toughest of times. Same as the fisherman’s wheel, the wife’s and children statute waiting for their return home or those who lost their lives in support of family and community no higher calling I would say! Or even the everyday mom and pops holding the families together even when things may be hard. That the true side of (GMG)

Love stay safe and healthly – to all Have a great week! Dave 🙂 & Kim:-)

Quotes from my journey in 2002 – (My Native Bible book of life (Red-Thunder), by David Matherson 2002).

      A Home Put Together:

“Your mother is the best friend you’re ever going to have in this world, elders always said. When she’s gone, no one will take her place and love you as freely and unconditionally as she did.”

      The Spirit of Home:

“Always remember, son your successes are because of your wife. Take care of her accordingly.” The best man is not necessarily the best looking one, or the fastest talking one. What will hold a woman’s love for a life time is the man who is kind to children and elders, good to the animals and prayerfully ceremonial in his everyday life!! ” “My Native Bible (Red-Thunder), by David Matherson 2002.” Great read too like many today you will carry inside forever! 🙂

Yes it is: (Pops was right it is a wonderful) – Louie Armstrong!

Louis Armstrong Kenny G What a Wonderful World

“Life has a beginning and end, no matter who you are, or whom you think you may be. The (Kolunsuten), Creator, promised no one a tomorrow or an easy time. The “First Prayer” is for your own life, always thankful for it first and foremost. Therefore life begins with each new day and a sincere thanksgiving for the extension of the very special and sacred privilege of life itself. This is the foundation of our culture and of the story you are about to read.”. – David Matheson
