Second Annual North Shore Volunteer Fair
SeniorCare Inc.’s RSVP will host the North Shore Volunteer Fair on Thursday, April 14, 2016, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at Cruiseport, located at 6 Rowe Square, in downtown Gloucester, MA.
Volunteers Patty Colbert and Bea Robbins helped at SeniorCare’s Valentine’s Day Breakfast for Meals on Wheels.
Experience the benefits of volunteering. Are you thinking about it, but don’t know where to begin, or who to see? Do you want to get started working with the many non-profit organizations in our community? Do you have interests, talents, a little time, and the willingness to share with others? Volunteers of all age groups are needed.
The volunteer experience can enrich our lives. You will meet new friends and find new opportunities and horizons. Sometimes we need a purpose and a reason to fulfill our lives while making things a little better and sharing with others.
So Come to the Fair! You will meet representatives of over 30 non-profit organizations from Cape Ann and the North Shore. All will be on hand to assist you and answer your questions. There will be plenty of time to browse and perhaps make a decision as to what area you would like to pursue.
Light refreshments will be served.
The Volunteer Fair will also be a collection point for our local food pantries. Please consider bringing a non-perishable food donation.
The Volunteer Fair is made possible by a grant from the Massachusetts Service Alliance. For more information, please call SeniorCare’s RSVP at 978-281-1750, extension 572, or email rsvp@seniorcareinc.org.
For a full list of participating non-profit organizations, go to www.seniorcareinc.org.
