Time To Pay The Piper

From the Urban Dictionary;

To pay a price that you deem high or unfair, but failing to pay the price often results in dire consequences.

Based on the story of the Pied Piper, who removed the rats from a town, and when not paid, he took their children instead!

“Don’t you know the Mafia collects protection here? If you want to run a business in this town, you have to pay the piper.”

  1. Saw a hawk yesterday swooping down on a rat scurrying for cover and the only thing that saved it was getting under cover another second and the hawk would have had it in it’s clutches (watching this flight caught both me and Kim by surprise as it was so sudden! The abort flight was so graceful missed the wall and item rat ran under…One of those did I just see that moments on our walk yesterday! πŸ™‚ Dave & Kim πŸ™‚
